Designer Preview: TAVIK

Newport Coast Closet is so thrilled to be showcasing the TAVIK 2013 Spring collection in the coming months.  The design team started in Southern California, and they know all about rocking the latest and greatest beach apparel.  Starting as a men's clothing line in 2004, TAVIK eventually branched out to a women's swim collection which has been a hit since it launched in 2009.  With the idea of bright graphic prints and funky pastel and neon colors, TAVIK has become a one of a kind swimsuit line for women.  The upcoming 2013 Spring line is unique and fun, and we know you'll love to show off any piece from this collection.  Known bikini designer Ani Breslin has join the TAVIK team and she's created some fabulous designs.  The new collection will feature an inspiration of Old Hollywood meets the funky and wild Venice Beach, with a little classic rock and roll sprinkled in.  So get your red lipstick and big shades ready, TAVIK is sure to be a huge hit this spring.  Pre-order will soon be available for TAVIK 2013 Spring collection at www.newportcoastcloset.com!

Newport Coast Closet is getting ready to welcome the Sky 2013 collection!  We are all about the new dresses that the Los Angeles based designers are sending our way.  Peter and Jennifer Kane, the husband and wife design team, live for fashion.  Starting as a shoe collection, Sky has now grown into a well know clothing line.  Made for women of all shapes and sizes, Sky is a vibrant, seductive and wearable collection for women who want to look effortlessly sexy.  Their unique style consists of fun patterns, bright brooches, and unique cuts that you'll only find with Sky.  Worn by both celebrities and everyday women, we know you'll be as obsessed as we are with the new Sky collection!  The 2013 collection will soon be available at www.newportcoastcloset.com for pre-order.

Miami Fashion Week

We had so much fun at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Miami last weekend. We saw shows by Vitamin A, Cia Maritíma, and Caffé Swimwear. What were some of your favorite looks?

      How lucky are we to be rubbing elbows with models and designers at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Miami last night? Designer Paula Saavedra of Caffé Swimwear showed us some fabulous pieces for her 2013 collection. The sexy suits and cover ups featured bright colors and tropical prints that really caught our eyes. Cia Maritíma designer Benny Rosset brought some hot looks to the show as well, with animal prints and island colors gracing the runway. We are definitely loving this 2013 collection.
